There are two important events this week

Event ONE .

This Friday 25th May  

The Imaging & Digital Entertainment Association is presenting " The Digital Show 2012 " http://www.thedigitalshow.com.au/

This event happens in Melbourne once in every two years.

The show opens this Friday 25th May for the Photographic Industry professionals, and students of photography.

This is your opportunity to get first hand experience as to what innovation is occurring within 

" The Industry "

So. This friday all First Year Students  are invited to attend  at  11am at  

The Melbourne Convention Centre: 1 Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf 3006

Exhibition Centre entrance: 2 Clarendon St, South Wharf 3006

This exhibition is " free to registered " students

Most Important. 

You will have to Register On line in order to recieve your " Confirmation of Registration " Bar Code  http://www.infosalons.com.au/DIGITAL12M/index.php

You need to bring this " Confirmation of Registration " Bar Code  with you to get in. And it might be an idea to have your pic student card with you...

Due to The Digital Show 2012. - There will be no formal classes at pic this Friday 25th.

Event TWO

This Wednesday 23rd May.

Networks Class 

All 1st Year students are to meet at the

Centre for Contemporary Photography 404 George Street Fitzroy   

at 11.30 am. to view  SIRI HAYES - EXHIBITION " ALL YOU KNIT IS LOVE "

THIS FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER IS ON THE  GUEST SPEAKER PROGRAMME FOR NETWORKS  2012. 

SO IT IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO EXAMINE HER WORK AND FORMULATE QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT PUT TO SIRI, WHEN YOU MEET HER AT PIC.

ALSO 

THERE WILL BE NO " FILM ELECTIVE " CLASS THIS WEEK DUE TO THE CCP EXCURSION. WE WILL CONTINUE THE FILM ELECTIVE CLASS NEXT WEEK 1.30 WEDNESDAY 30TH MAY.
