Kangaroo Photos have been capturing the action at pro and amateur sport at all levels for over 9 years. We specialise in team and action photography for amateur sporting clubs.

We’re looking for photographers of all experience ranges – from students through to professionals needing extra work.

We offer a generous payment structure, as well as the chance to bolster your CV with gigs such as Boomers v Tall Blacks, WNBL games, and a host of other pro events.

We’re looking for friendly, fun, outgoing and well-groomed photographers to join the Kangaroo family. Roo HQ is in Melbourne, but shoots will be taking place throughout Victoria and also interstate.

Applicants will ideally be experienced in team and action sports photography, or willing to be trained to our high standards. You must be able to travel (a license and your own car are a must), and enjoy working with children. A police check and ‘working with children’ statement will be required for successful applicants.

The role is perfect for someone seeking a busy, fast-paced role, or a pro looking for additional income. You also enjoy working flexible hours – mainly weekends and evenings.

Gear requirements: Minimum professional/semi Professional SLR digital camera, a 70-200mm 2.8 or 300mm F4 or better, external flash and a professional wide angle lens. Access to a laptop or home computer a must.
